YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!

Round em' up cowboys!!!!!

So Tuesday, I want over to my adorable little nephews house (actually my brother house) and I now have 7 nephews and 1 neice! So I am a Auntie the 8th time! WHOOHOOO!
So I guess you can say the 'theme' for this visit was "Cowboys and Cowgirls" .  WHY. Well it all started with Savers. Yep Savers.  Every time I go there, I always "run" to the shoe isle, why.... I WANT BOOTS! But not just any boots, reall cute, knee length boots, with buckles ( my very favorite!) I finally found a pair! YES I DID! So excited! I quickly bought them after trying them on (deffently a Savers Find!) and brought them home. Then I went through EVERYTHING I had to make a really cute outfit with my new boots.

My Twinny sometimes teases me and says "Did you sleep with your boots on yet? Or did you decide to take them off?" Of course she's teasing... but it's supper funny!
So back to my nephews house......... So I wore my boots when I went there.  And Cole (the oldest) saw them and said "Hey, I have cowboy boots too! Want me to show you them!" (which they were the 'real' cowboy boots) He put them on and then the little boys, didn't want to miss out on this 'boot fun'. (The little boys; Kaleb and Quinn, have rubber boots) So we put them all on, and corralled outside to play Cowboy and Cowgirl (the boy's idea) We had our little ranch, pretended that the Scooters and Bikes were Horses and Cows, exercised the Horses, fed them, watered them.  Then after that we went in side the house to make some crafts! Considering the theme was Cowboys! We made Cow boy hates! From paper!

Really really simple and fun,.... and creative.  I designed it myself, so There could be a better way to do it...But oh well.

Directions are below:

HOW TO MAKE PAPER COWBOY HATS

Simply take a colored constuction  paper ( brown or black are sugested) and draw out a shape of a cowboy hat (do not show the inside of the brim, draw like you looking at the hat on someone.) .  Cut out shape, then  put aside.
Using the rest of the paper, cut out 1/2 in wide strip of the paper (cut as many many {long} stips as needed to go around head- It should be measerd from middle of forhead to all the way around.)

After cutting strips, attacth them with either stapleing them, OR taping them. (If taping- then go around papers)  after connecting them it should be a full circle perfectly fit to go on your head
After taking paper hat shape and strips, attatch the together, by laying part of loop onto the hat, and stapling or taping it.
So the craft should look like this:
After sliding it onto your head: This is what it should look like:

FRIENDS! MEET MY LITTLE NEPHEWS!!!!!  Including my newest nephew Keenan, who was born on March 19th 2013!!!

(From left to right) Kaleb (3), Quinn (2), Cole (7) and Keenan (newborn)

Hope you all have a blessed Easter! And remember what we are really celerbrating about!

Love,
